Chris Waller won a USA Gymnastics or NCAA national title every year from 1989-1993. He was an all-around finalist at the 1992 Olympic Games and took fifth on pommel horse, only one tenth of a point away from the gold medal. The 1991 U.S. National Champion, Waller was selected the 1991 Athlete of the Year by his national teammates. Chris was a member of USA Gymnastics Board of Executive Committee and Chairman of the Athlete’s Council for 8 years. Chris is married to Cindy Olkoski, a former gymnast and cheerleader, and also a graduate of UCLA. They have two children, Alexandra and Lilia. Cindy and Chris filmed a Levi’s commercial together and were featured in Levi’s shorts print advertisements in 1994. He and Cindy, along with Chris’s former teammate, Jason Garman, founded GymJam (summer gymnastics camp) in 1997 and operated the camp until 2002. Chris and Cindy recently joined forces with Woodward Camp to open Woodward West in Stallion Springs, Calif., where they are directors.
