Dr. Joseph C. Schabacker served as president of the U.S. Sports Acrobatics Federation 19 years from 1975-1993. His experience as an athlete at Temple University, professional hand balancer for 10 years and gymnastics judge for 24 years gave Schabacker a well-rounded perspective of the sport and allowed him to have an effective tenure with US Sports Acrobatics Federation. Schabacker also created the World Acrobatics Society, served on the United States Olympic Committee and was Chairman of the IFSA Scientific Committee.
