Jack Miles was a four sport athlete, and excelled as a gymnast perhaps because of his learned skills in track, soccer and diving. His creativity grants him credit for creating the “Whippet”— a backflip into an L-sit on the flying rings. After a career adorned with AAU and Pan American Games medals, Miles founded and was president of the Florida Gymnastics Association.
