Tim Daggett is an accomplished U.S. National Team member who has been a member of several World Teams and an Olympic Gymnastics team. Daggett was a part of the gold medal winning men’s Olympic Team in 1984 at the Los Angeles games. He scored a perfect 10.0 on horizontal bar, which clinched the win for the U.S. At those same games, he also won the bronze medal on pommel horse. Earlier in that same year, Daggett completed a successful college career by winning four gold medals at the NCAA Championships. Daggett won titles in the team competition and also on still rings, parallel bars, and pommel horse. In 1985, Daggett won the all-around at the American Cup. He also won the gold medal on parallel bars at the U.S. Championships. At the World Team Trials, he won the all-around and was named to the 1985 World Championships Team. He also served as captain for that team. In 1986, Daggett won his first U.S. National all-around title. He also won the gold medal on parallel bars for the second consecutive year.He was named team captain of the Goodwill Games as well.

In 1987 Daggett won his third individual event title at the U.S. Championships taking the gold medal on pommel horse. Tim was named to the Pan American Games team and was distinguished as the team captain. He contributed to the gold medal winning team at those games and won the individual event title on pommel horse. Later in the year he was named as team captain of the 1987 World Championships team. Daggett would compete for one more year and end his career at the 1988 Olympic Trials.

Daggett now owns and coaches at his own gym, Daggett’s Gold Medal Gymnastics in Massachusetts . He can also be seen and heard as a color commentator for televised gymnastics events on NBC.
